Handmade reclaimed wood L-shaped corner desk with black steel hairpin legs, built to order in your chosen size & wax finish. Designed for home offices, studios & larger workspaces, each corner desk is made from genuine reclaimed timber that has been carefully prepared, sanded smooth & finished by hand. The natural knots, grain, markings & imperfections are retained, giving every desk its own individual character. The first measurement refers to the length of the main desk section. The second measurement refers to the length of the return section. Available configurations range from approximately: 100cm 80cm Up to 200cm 140cm Desktop depths available: 40cm 60cm The two sections meet at a right angle to create the L-shaped workspace. CORNER CONFIGURATION The two desktop sections can be arranged to suit either a left-hand or right-hand corner. When placing your order, please let me know which side you would like the return section to sit on when seated at the desk. WAX FINISHES Choose from: Antique Pine Medium Brown Dark Oak Jacobean The wax is applied & buffed by hand to protect the wood & create a smooth, natural finish while allowing the reclaimed grain & character to remain visible. Please remember that reclaimed timber absorbs wax differently from board to board. The finished colour may therefore vary slightly from the photographs, making each desk unique. GENUINE RECLAIMED WOOD This desk is made from real reclaimed timber rather than new wood that has been artificially distressed. The wood may include original knots, grain variations, filled cracks, saw marks, nail holes, stamps, small dents & other signs of its previous life. These features are carefully treated & form part of the character of the finished desk. Both desktop sections are thoroughly sanded to create a practical, smooth workspace while retaining the natural rustic appearance of the timber. UK-MADE STEEL LEGS The desk is supplied with black powder-coated steel hairpin legs made by a UK steel fabricator. The legs include strong fixing plates & are designed to create a stable corner desk suitable for everyday home-office use. The legs are supplied separately for safe delivery & can be fitted easily using the screws provided. The fixing positions are prepared before dispatch. Other leg styles, including A-frame, X-frame & trapezium designs, may also be available. Please contact me for options & pricing. Every desk is made individually in my workshop rather than mass-produced. Your desk will be prepared, sanded, assembled, checked & finished by hand. The usual production time is approximately 2-3 weeks. Once completed, the desk is sent using an insured 48-hour courier service. DELIVERY Free delivery is included for most mainland UK addresses. Additional delivery charges may apply to some remote locations, islands, Northern Ireland & certain Scottish postcodes. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Clean the desk using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid strong cleaning chemicals, abrasive products & prolonged contact with standing water. Coasters or desk mats are recommended beneath hot drinks, plant pots & equipment that may mark the surface. The wax finish can be refreshed in the future using a suitable furniture wax. CUSTOM ORDERS
