It's made from fabric with a sturdy base rail and a smooth chain mechanism that operates reliably day after day. The whole thing measures 60cm wide and 160cm drop including fittings, and it's been tested to meet the 2014 blind safety standards. It's wipe clean, which keeps maintenance quick and easy.
