A beautiful, Scandi inspired hand thrown ceramic Christmas tree, perfect in daylight, glowing by night with an LED tealight. These individual unique trees make perfect gifts, for someone else or for you! They look particularly amazing in a forest en masse - perfect for a Christmas tablescape, or on your mantelpiece. As I make each tree to be individual, they are between 8-15cm tall. They are thrown on my wheel, then carefully carved with a variety of sizes of small holes so that the tree will glow when a candle is placed inside, casting patterns around. The tree is then slowly dried before being fired to 1000C, then glazed with a glossy clear glaze & fired again, & finally hand decorated (extremely carefully!) with real gold lustre, before its third & final firing. Each tree is perfectly unique, tactile, well proportioned & organically shaped. I make 4 sizes of the trees - small is 8-10cm tall; medium is 10-12cm tall, large is 12-15cm tall & extra is 17-20cm high. I am very happy to answer queries & to provide you with photos of individual trees with their heights available in advance - people often like this when they are buying a small forest, to make sure that their selection works well together! I love making these trees & I firmly believe they should be on display all year round, not just for Christmas!
