This Christmas decoration represents a Christmas Tree with clear baubles & blue & turquoise tinsels. It is translucent letting the light through, there is texture applied to the back of the tree creating shadows on the front, as you can see on the pictures. After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs & makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually & the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C & annealed to ensure strength & durability.
