Angelic Blessings is a Victorian Christmas tree topper featuring a regal angel & an abundance of ornate details for a truly showstopping result! Completely handcrafted from genuine, antique & vintage materials of European origin, (Germany, England, France), this topper is truly spectacular. We began this topper with a beautiful antique angel scrap from the 1890s. This beautiful gent is dressed in a warm winter suit of soft white & holds a candle in front of his carolling book while he joyfully sings. On his back are rich gold wings & a majestic halo blooms about his head. For the base we selected a vintage, mouth-blown glass topper with three indents & adorned it with a variety of antique & vintage trims. Delicate gold laces, ethereal gilded ribbon, dainty Dresden gold foils, elegant fringe, scalloped trim & soft chenille were combined to create an old-world feel. As the piece de resistance we added a trio of double gold German steifkantille spirals. Suspended from the spirals are delicate pendants that have been completely hand-wired using vintage glass beads. The pendants daintily sway with the lightest touch for a whimsical effect. This topper would make a fantastic addition to anyone's Victorian collection, & it also makes a perfect gift for someone very special! (They're sure not to have another one like it!)
