I used to make each ornament with my Dad he was the woodworker & I've always been the artist. Now each ornament is hand made by me using a small print of my art cut out & adhered to wood. The wood is a piece of reclaimed 100 year old spalted maple wood (the tree fell a few years ago in my front yard in east Tennessee). The wood has been cut with a band saw & then planed, cut to shape, stained & then sprayed with a few coats of high gloss finish on the front & back. Each piece of wood is unique & different, & every ornament is tied with a red ribbon to hang on the tree. This piece measures 3 1/2 wide x approx. 4 1/2 high Each piece is hand-made, hand-cut so no two pieces are exactly alike, but all are made with care.
