Fused Glass Christmas Tree in Stand-Up Mount with Candle Holder. An ideal Christmas gift or decoration for any home. You can use either a tea light or a regular candle. (The candle is not included.) It looks great in a well-lit location where the light can shine through it, & it looks fabulous at night when the candle is lit. It's made from the highest quality glass & the colours will not fade, even in direct sunlight. Height: 6.5 inches, width 4.25 inches, depth: 5 inches (17 cm x 11 cm x 13 cm). Your tree is supplied in three pieces for safer shipping. Simply slot the tree panel into the mount & gently tighten the screw, then put the candle holder on the base behind the tree & add a candle or tea light of your choice. You might like to attach the candle holder to the base for extra safety. I recommend clear glue for this. (Slot the tree into place & tighten the screw before fixing the candle holder into place, otherwise you might not be able to reach the screw.) HOW IT'S MADE: I cut the outline of the tree from a sheet of clear glass, then cut the sections of the tree from light-green & dark-green glass & lay them on the outline. I also cut a piece of brown glass for the trunk. I then sprinkle white crushed glass onto the design & fire the whole piece in my kiln for 24 hours. The base panel is made from two layers of clear glass sprinkled with white crushed glass & fired in the kiln. I then glue the mount to the base panel. Each tree is thoroughly checked, wrapped in tissue paper, & securely packaged for shipping. CARING FOR YOUR FUSED GLASS: This is a fragile glass product & should be treated with care. It is intended for indoor use only. The glass can be gently wiped with a damp, soft cloth & dried with a soft, lint-free cloth or kitchen towel.
