Any imperfections such as small splits in the wood grain, knots & marks from the wood's previous life, reveal its age & history & the rustic planks that we use for our pieces may be faintly uneven & may cup or bow very marginally over time. These variations in the wood are to be expected & celebrated & we promise that they will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece. in truth, these little imperfections enhance the unique character of the furniture which means you can be certain that no other piece will be exactly like yours.
