Expect to see dents, a textured uneven but smooth surface & an overall darker tone as the oil finish soaks into the imperfections. FINISH // Two coats of hard wax oil - a blend of natural oils & waxes offering exceptional durability & resistance whilst offering a natural look & feel. These tops are rustic there won't be completely smooth. CLEANING // Using 'Fiddes Surface Cleaner' is perfect for our furniture & can be found using Google. Alternatively, try mixing a very weak solution of water & dishwashing soap. Dip a soft cloth in the solution, wring it out thoroughly & wipe the entire piece. You want a damp cloth, not a wet one. Don't saturate the wood, & wipe the surface dry afterwards. Try to avoid liquids sitting on the surface for a long period as this may break down the finish & cause staining.
