This copper umbrella stand illustrates a couple of sparrows grasped onto a branch & it is entirely handmade by La Casa del Rame, according to ancient copper processing arts such as chiseling & embossing. Starting from a simple copper plate, the metal is carefully drawn & chiseled, in order to obtain the relief of birds & several branches. To finish the work the panel has been polished, in order to give brightness to the red copper. It may be an original idea for your house or even as a gift: the surprise effect is guaranteed! This object was photographed several months after its creation so it had a browned (darkened finish) effect that is obtained over time.
