But you will find a duplicate listing in our Etsy shop where all of the stockings are available We have designed this new range of Christmas stockings around themes inspired by the Nativity. As with our other stockings, these are all beautifully, & painstakingly, hand knitted in organic cotton by highly-skilled artisans. Each Christmas stocking is about 18cm/7 inches wide at the opening at the top, & measures about 65cm/25 inches tall. They have a pocket at the top for a letter to Santa, & two pompoms to help with hanging the stocking. ChunkiChilli represents a knitting community in a remote & rural part of Southwest China, & all of the stockings are knitted there. When we first launched the community, the knitters were mostly Mums knitting while their children were at school. They are now mostly Grannies, multi-tasking knitting & looking after their grandchildren. If you choose the 'Named' option from the drop-down list, we will personalise the stockings with a leather tag. Vegan leather tags are also available on request. We often get asked why we do not offer to embroider names straight onto the stocking. Our answer is that most of the embroidery that you see is done with a machine, but it is impossible to machine-embroider hand-knitted stockings of this high quality. We would love to hand-embroider each stocking, but we don't have the time. However, if you would like to hand-embroider your own stocking, please let us know & we will include some matching yarn in the package, so that you can. Our leather tags are made to last, as are our stockings, so when you pass the stockings down from one generation to the next, you can just remove & replace the tags.
