Julie Malone's Six Comforts snowglobe is one of our first limited edition art collaborations available. Made for Snow Day's launch party & exhibit. Julie painted & adapted a small plain cardboard house, & turned it into something amazing, which was then 3D scanned & printed in miniature. The original was sold at silent auction during the launch event, & 25 limited edition 4 globes are now available. Statement from the artist: I am a Colorist & my oil paintings have been categorized as Atmospheric Abstractions. Much of my work hints to the landscape, often offering a distinct horizon. I begin each painting with color washes, much like a watercolorist, adding an extra water-like element. I hope to capture & reflect the visual energy of our natural world in every painting. A colorful gesture to enlighten our imagination visionary; where light & color dance, igniting your mind's eye.
