I allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the eye as it has become an important feature to my ceramics as is the natural, organic nature of my work. Once the piece is made it is left to dry for approximately one week. It is then fired for 10 hours to biscuit temperature. The piece is then glazed using one or two of my secret recipes & fired to stoneware temperature for a further 12 hours. The piece is then ready to send to my customers. As you can appreciate this is a very lengthy process which is reflected in the price & quality of my work.
