Away They All Flew Tree Skirt DESCRIPTION: My hand-stitched tree skirts are felt & sequin creations, inspired by the old-fashioned Christmas decorations that my great-grandmothers created. This tree-skirt shows Santa, & four of his reindeer in flight. Above them is a sky full of stars. Set against a white background & bordered with red, silver, green, & gold sequins, this tree skirt is a beautiful centerpiece for your Christmas. STORY BEHIND THE SKIRT: in designing this tree skirt, I wanted to capture the wonder of Christmas as I remember it from my childhood. The core of this magic was the excitement & hope that maybe this year I'd wake to a clatter, & catch a glimpse of the elf & his team. I wanted to show the team in flight, just leaving another house, & about to vault into the stars above. My shop is named after my great-grandmothers, who created the Christmas heirlooms I inherited. It is my hope & pleasure, with every design, that someday my handmade, heritage-trained creations will become part of your own family's heritage. DETAILS: - 35 - 36 diameter - 4 opening for the tree - Materials used: polyester felt, plastic sequins, glass beats, nylon, dual-coat thread - Please note, the back of the tree skirt shows raw (but tidy) stitches. I am able to add a felt back to the tree skirt for an additional cost. A NOTE ON CUSTOMIZATION: Everything is customizable! Aside from the colors of the felt I use, I can adjust any piece of this pattern to fit your Christmas aesthetic. Love everything except the blue sequins used in the stars? No problem, I can leave them off. Love the pattern, but silver really is your style? Let's switch that up for you! Three-inch opening for the tree doesn't fit your tree stand? Rasy fix.
