These fused glass snow globe decorations are great to hang in a window, on a twig branch or Christmas tree. A hole has been drilled in the top & a ribbon added from which they can be suspended. They make great Christmas gift & stocking filler. There are 2 designs: snowman & leaping deer. The snowman has been cut out of coloured glass. The deer is cut out of copper sheet & has a thin layer of clear glass fusing it to the base - please note this is a bit textured. Please note each one is slightly different as they are hand made. My glass is all handmade by me at my home in York, UK. I love experimenting with different techniques & reactions in the glass kiln. Most of my work is fully fused, with means it has been melted into a smooth blob at about 800C. If there is texture in the piece then it has been fused at a slightly lower temperature to keep the texture. Shaped pieces then have to go through the kiln again to be slumped into shape on a mould. Each thermal cycle takes overnight & I am excited to see what has happened when I open the kiln in the morning. I am happy to ship my work all over the world & also to take commissions.
