As an urban planner & garden designer, it's important to me to give gardens & public spaces a unique touch. in response to my clients' desire for a modern & unique garden sculpture as a highlight for their garden, I developed the oak steles as a part-time project. My idea for these light catchers is now spreading worldwide. The combination of local oak wood & colored glass inserts made of transparent, satin-finished acrylic glass creates powerful yet exciting art objects that lend any room a unique character through their play of light. The wooden piece is approximately 118 cm high, 13 cm wide, & 3 cm thick. The ground spikes add approximately 40 cm to the height above the ground. All oak steles are uniquely handcrafted. Each sculpture receives a branded signature. The sculptures are made of carefully dried, robust oak wood & impregnated with an oil glaze. This makes this beautiful outdoor garden accessory weatherproof all year round. The listed price includes two ground spikes made of robust sectional steel (85 cm long) & a mounting kit with six stainless steel screws. The ground spikes are available in raw steel (rust-resistant) or galvanized. Stainless steel is also available for an additional charge of 40. The steles do not need to be embedded in concrete. Simply ramming them into the ground is sufficient, even in stormy weather. This sculpture also makes an eye-catching living room decoration with an oak base.
