This striped stocking was made from a felted wool women's cardigan sweater. I placed the blue (medium & light blue) buttoned up front down the center of the stocking & on the loop. (The small metal buttons are beautifully textured.) I fringed the cuff & allowed the toe of the stocking to take advantage of one of the sweaters original seams.
