This is a hand made fine art ceramic sculpture of a house. This house home decor is a one of a kind piece which I made while imagining the old houses of Jerusalem, with all the old trees around, cracks & damages of time. The bird on top is both a symbol for peace & guards the home. I love walking around old cities & old buildings! I get so inspired! Sometimes people think that all these cracks on my clay houses, are an accident. I tell them that I intentionally make them & highlight them with color, so they get to tell some of their stories & history, just like an old man's forehead & wrinkled hands! I took this house & some more of the kind out of my kiln & could almost hear the Shabbat (Saturday, our rest day in Israel) songs playing their themes in my mind.
