Our Standard bird feeder tree has been uniquely crafted with practicality in mind. Compact enough to fit in a wide range of areas, from patios, nestled amongst a garden border to freestanding on the lawn, this tree is the perfect choice for the smaller garden. This tree can also double as a beautiful ornamental piece by covering in fairy lights which looks beautiful on a summer's evening or in the more festive months of winter as a Christmas tree. Made from mild steel & coated in a waxed layer, this helps to keep the tree sturdy, robust & it will last for decades, it has a natural wood-like look & can be left to weather naturally or just reapply beeswax as required. This bird feeding station has been designed as three separate components which makes assembly effortless, & it can be easily moved around the garden. These components are: 1. the Tree; 2. the Pole; & 3. the Base. Dimensions: Approximate height & width of top of the tree (with the leaves & branches) is 100cm x 76cm. The approximate height of the poles is 116cm with a diameter of 1.9cm, which allows for commercially available adjustable squirrel bafflers to be used if you have pesky squirrels! The approximate height & width of the base is 46cm x 21cm. The base is inserted into the ground at a depth of 30cm. Our complete height is measured from the top of the tree to the bottom of the pole when the base is inserted into the ground. Approx complete dimensions are: h 216cm x w 70cm The branches are constructed of 6,8 & 10mm mild steel which means they can hold a large amount of weight & stay structurally sound. The lowest branch starts at approximately 120cm from ground level & there are at least ten hanging points around the tree which will provide ample placements for all your feeders or perching spots for those feathered friends. There is the option to have an upgraded base for an additional fee, these options are: Star base - which is recommended for gardens that are in areas of extreme exposure. Or a patio base can be purchased separately if you would like your tree to be placed on a hard surface area.
