Season 1 of uFurnish.com Home Tours has taken us inside five very different homes across the UK. Deirdre McGettrick, founder and CEO of uFurnish.com, met some of the country’s most creative home content creators to discover the ideas, renovation decisions and personal touches behind their interiors.
From clever DIY projects and dramatic uses of colour to a car showroom and countryside swimming pool, there have been plenty of standout spaces along the way.
We’ve brought together some of our favourite rooms and design moments from Season 1 below. You can also watch the highlights in our Best of Season 1 YouTube video, with more home inspiration to come soon in Season 2.
Showroom, Lexie Carducci (@LexieCarducci)

You know an entrance has made an impression when the first thing you see is a classic Porsche. Lexie and her husband transformed their garage into a dedicated showroom for their vintage Porsche that has been affectionately named Nelly. Instead of hiding the car away, they've made it part of their home interior experience. Lexie notes that it's the only piece of artwork displayed throughout their home.
With such an unexpected introduction to the house, both Lexie & her husband have made it clear that ordinary spaces do not have to be used in ordinary ways.
Kitchen, Laura Deller (@HouseprojectUK)

Laura designed her open-plan kitchen around how her family would actually use it. A vented AEG hob helps keep the island open, so whoever is cooking can remain part of the conversation rather than facing away from family or guests. Built-in appliances continue to extend that uncluttered feel, while the kitchen connects directly with the dining area and garden beyond.
The end result is a space that works well for both everyday family life and entertaining, which is fitting given that Laura names the kitchen island as one of her favourite places to host.
Dining Room, Alana Miller (@Alana.Miller)

Alana’s dining room is a great example of how a ceiling deserves just as much attention as the four walls around it. Her dark and moody scheme continues overhead with classical artwork wallpaper from Rebel Walls, turning the so-called ‘5th wall’ into the room’s main feature. The space is balanced with functional features through built-in alcove storage, a dedicated coffee area and an extendable dining table designed for hosting larger groups.
Instead of simply creating one statement piece, Alana has used the whole room to create a truly immersive dining experience.
Office & Cartoon Room, Daniel Bland (@bland_design)

There are very few home offices that make you question whether you have stepped into another dimension. Daniel stripped out the room, removed the wardrobes and introduced mirrors to bring more light into the space. He then painted the room white before spending three days nearly going 'snowblind' adding the black lines by hand.
Daniel's simple black-and-white palette creates an illusion of walking into a hand-drawn cartoon. It's a brilliant example of how an imaginative paint idea can completely change the perception of a room without relying on expensive materials or elaborate furniture. The finished home office became one of the rooms that helped Daniel go viral on social media.
Family Room, Laura Deller

Laura’s family room has quite literally been at the centre of her renovation journey. Her family lived in the space while renovations took place elsewhere in the house. Today, it has become a cosy place for watching TV, reading and spending time together as a family.
The family room also features Laura's award-winning IKEA bookcase hack, which saw her win Best DIY Creation at the 2024 uFurnish.com Home Awards. In the room, light herringbone-effect flooring and large windows have helped brighten the space, but it is the combination of clever storage and Laura’s DIY work that gives the room its character.
Kitchen, Anna Jacobs (@annalysejacobs)

Anna has created an incredible kitchen through her eye for deals and being able to find a bargain.
The finished room combines Wickes kitchen units, IKEA shelving, a Haier cooktop with an integrated extractor and Corian worktops. Anna even built the kitchen alongside her daughter. The colour contrast makes the room pleasing to look at. Different elements have been brought together around the way Anna wants to live, and as a result she has created a space that feels relaxed and ready for entertaining.
Dining Room, Daniel Bland

Daniel’s dining room captures his maximalist approach perfectly. His own Faded Grandeur wallpaper wraps the room, while a chandelier creates a focal point above the dining table. One of the smartest details, however, is the picture rail Daniel created for displaying artwork. Pieces can be moved and replaced without having to constantly fix new artwork into the wall.
He has even used the space under the staircase as a built-in bar, adding another element designed around entertaining. The result feels theatrical, with every detail having its own unique purpose.
Master Bedroom, Anna Jacobs

Anna’s master bedroom is closely connected to the countryside that surrounds her home. Floor-to-ceiling glazed windows opens the room towards the woodland outside, while a warm sunset-inspired colour palette brings some of those natural tones indoors. The open-plan layout also allows the bedroom to serve more than one purpose, with Anna using the space to create both artwork and online content.
The relationship between the interior and landscape makes this part of her home stand out. The surrounding nature isn't simply something viewed through the window. It becomes part of the atmosphere within.
Kid's Bedroom, Alana Miller

This is one of Alana's favourite rooms, and it is easy to see why. A tapestry-style wallpaper from Belarte Studio brings artwork across the walls and gives the children’s bedroom a completely different character from a conventional kids’ room. Alongside it sits one of the best bargains we saw from Season 1: a fireplace Alana discovered on Facebook Marketplace for just £10!
The room sums up much of Alana’s approach throughout her Edwardian home. Old and new pieces sit together, while the colour, artwork and second-hand finds give the space a unique identity of its own.
Walk-in Wardrobe, Lexie Carducci

Lexie’s walk-in wardrobe takes a very different approach to the hidden storage found elsewhere in many homes. Open wardrobes and drawers keep her clothes visible and easy to browse, turning getting dressed into part of the experience of the room. A dedicated vanity adds another practical zone, while roller blinds allow Lexie to balance privacy with the large amount of natural light entering the space.
For someone known for fashion, it feels less like somewhere to simply store clothes and more like a personal dressing room designed around how Lexie actually uses her collection.
Swimming Pool, Anna Jacobs

Few features from Season 1 have a setting quite like Anna’s swimming pool. Hidden among the woodland of her East Sussex property, the pool and sauna area have been designed to sit within the surrounding landscape rather than compete with it. It isn't simply a luxury feature but an investment in Anna and her family's health and wellbeing. Anna explained that the pool is used almost every single day!
There is more still to come from this already stunning home feature. The neighbouring oast house is part of Anna’s future renovation plans for the space. She intends on creating a steam bathroom for her guests to enjoy.
The Best of Season 1
What makes our first Home Tours season so interesting is how differently each homeowner has approached their space. Lexie focuses on minimalism, flow and unexpected uses of space. Laura shows what is possible through hands-on DIY and designing around family life. Alana combines the character of an Edwardian property with bold, moody interiors. Daniel uses his home almost like a canvas for experimentation and Anna brings colour, creativity and the surrounding countryside together.
It's clear from these wonderful homes that there is no single formula for creating your perfect home. The best spaces from Season 1 are the ones that reflect the people who live in them.
